Below
are spells & rituals that I found from various places on the web. This is
only a basic guide. Please remember that it is important that you learn to write
your own spells & rituals.
Casting the Circle
Purify self with bath and/or oil. Purify the area with incense or broom. Set up an altar with your tools (athame, wand, chalice, salt, God/dess candles, etc.). Light the God & Goddess candles as well as the candles at each of the four quarters. Build up energy within & create the circle by walking around it, deosil, three times with the athame, releasing your energy & saying:
"Here is the boundary of this circle. Naught but love shall enter, naught but love shall emerge. Charge this by your powers."
Sprinkle salt & water around the circle. Call upon the Elements to protect the circle; do this in each direction:
"O Spirit of the North, Ancient one of Earth, I call you to attend this circle. Charge this by Your powers."
"O Spirit of the East, Ancient one of Air, I call you to attend this circle. Charge this by Your powers."
"O Spirit of the South, Ancient one of Fire, I call you to attend this circle. Charge this by Your powers."
"O Spirit of the West, Ancient one of Water. I call you to attend this circle. Charge this by Your powers."
Invocation to the Goddess & God
"Goddess of Love & Beauty, Protectress of
all,
Mother of women & men
Descend, I pray,
With your lunar ray of power
Upon my circle here!"
"God of Earth, Lord of the Sun, Protector of
all,
Father of women & men
Descend, I pray,
With your solar ray of power
Upon my circle here!
I have called upon the Spirits of North, East, South & West
to aid me in the construction of this circle.
This circle is sealed."
Elemental Calling
Ancient Serpent Mother
I touch your Earth
beneath a dream draped Oak,
my life rooted to your calling
shedding skin and self.
Join me in this circle.
Moonlit night flying
soaring spinning
weaving amongst clouds
owl, Sister of the feathered wing.
I call you to this place between the worlds.
Fireborn Goddess,
I stand before you
charred singing spirit
feeling, feeding the flames
born in time out of mind.
Join me in this circle
Wet Ocean Mother,
you of the wild and exhaulting dance
surging breaking waves
craving, estatic,
brining me the fierceness of lunacy.
This circle is cast.
Tool Consecration
"Before these spirits I bring (tool) to be dedicated to
the service of the Goddess and the God."
Pass tool three times through smoke of incense & say:
"By power of Air, be purified, be dedicated to purity,
that all goals you help achieve may harm none and be for good of all."
Pass tool three times though flame of candle & say:
"By power of Fire, be purified. Be dedicated to desire,
that all goals you help achieve may harm none and be for good of all."
Sprinkle water on the tool & say:
"By power of Water, be purified. Be dedicated to
emotion, that you be used in a spirit of harmony, harming none and for good of all."
Touch tool to salt & say:
"By power of Earth, be purified. Be dedicated to
steadfastness, that my will be achieved without wavering, with harm to none and for good
of all."
Presentation of Tools
"Goddess of Love, bless this (tool), let it
be a vessel of productivity that may be worthy to reside in circle with you. Let it be so
bound that no harm may come of it to any being. To thy service, I dedicate this vessel.
God of Earth, bless this (tool) and keep watch over it. Guard the works which come forth
from it, that they harm none and be ever in the service of thee. Let it be pure for thy
service and guide me in the harmony of seasons. My Goddess & God, bless this (tool).
So Mote It Be!"
Closing the Circle
Ground yourself with cake and wine and offer some to the Goddess & God. Thank the Goddess & God for attending and thank the Spirits of North, East, South & West for their protection. Walk three times, widdershins, with the athame taking back the energy. Bury the cake & wine you offered to the Goddess & God.
Full Moon Ritual
Purify self. Purify the area. Cast circle. Call upon the Spirits to protect the circle. You will also need one white candle.
Invocation
to the Goddess:
"Goddess of love & beauty
Mother of all that is good & pure
Lady of the Moon
Queen of the Gods
Protectress of all,
It is on this night of the full moon
to overcome shadows & bring about change
Dark is the night as I reach this
turning point in my life.
A time for death yet a time for rebirth
A time for endings yet a time for beginnings
A journey is done yet a journey starts
As the wheel turns I see birth, death & rebirth
& I know every end is a new beginning."
Meditate....remember a miserable time in your life. Let the painful memories overtake you. Curl up in the fetal position and feel the painful time in your life. Then, arise light your white candle & hold it high overhead.
"In darkness, there is light
In death there is rebirth
In endings there is beginnings
I feel energy & life returning to me
I feel the power of the universe
And the power & love of the Goddess & God
Within me."
Pass the candle over your body and feel its power heal and protect you & cleanse you while doing this chant.
"Let the light cast out all darkness."
This is a good time to perform magick, if desired. Ground yourself with cakes & wine. Offer some to the Goddess & God. Thank the Goddess & God for their presence, thank the Spirits of North, East, South, West for their protection and release the circle.
To Protect An Object
"With this pentagram I lay
Protection here both night and day
And the one who should not touch
Let his fingers burn and twitch
I now invoke the law of three
This is my will, so mote it be!"
Wish Spell to Diana
You may use this only three times in between the new moons. While gazing at the moon, repeat the following:
"Moon, moon, beautiful moon,
Brighter than any star,
Goddess of light and love,
Diana if it might be,
pray bring fortune unto me."
Witches
Bottle
(protection from ALL
harm)
This recipe came from Crystals Sands, etc. Catazine
Take a mason jar and put pins, needles, razor blades, cactus spines, rose thorns, broken glass, etc. in it. Prick your finger and let at least 3 drops of your blood into jar (this binds the jar to you). While making the bottle concentrate your thoughts on what you are doing. Urinate in the bottle and seal it well. Dig a hole and put it in it and say:
"Lord of Life, Lady of Light - Join me here
for this rite
I have made this bottle for my protection
According to ancient ways and tradition.
Direct all harm sent my way - To this grave I make today.
Return it three fold to the send - And let my life ever be better
Open my ears to hear and my eyes to see
As I will, So Mote It Be!"
Bury the bottle but don't break it...you can write down your prayer or incantation and wrap it around the bottle before burial.
Spell of the Comb & Mirror
Purify area, cast circle, etc. Burn a white candle for yourself, and say:
"O Lady of shimmering beauty,
For whom the stars are shining jewels
And the Universe Her creation and plaything,
Weaver of destinies and Protectress of things wild and free
Make me now, I do ask, to be thy daughter
Make me one with thee and grant me thy far-flung power
Grant to this, thy Witch and Sorceress
Strength within and without.
As eternal as the boundless sea,
The calm assurance of my powers
To make any do my bidding,
And the winds, waters, and fires,
The hills themselves lend willingly themselves to me.
Give to me, who am of thy ancient Craft
The wisdom of ages, the lore of eons,
Knowledge of light, knowledge of dark.
Grant me beauty ever more perfect
That I may reflect thee better.
Build magick within me, build power within me.
Power be drawn and power come.
And make me one with thee.
Make me greater, make me better
Grant me strength and grant me power.
O Goddess who is my friend and mother,
I give you love and thanks
O Beautiful One, may the magick I have summoned
Return the stronger when I have need of it
May wisdom, strength, comeliness and compassion

Binding a Spell
"Come ye as the charm is made!
Queen of light, Queen of dark
Lend your power unto this spell
and work your will by magick rite!
By all the power of land and sea
By all the might of moon and sun
I call the Earth to bind my spell.
Air to speed it well,
Bright as Fire shall it glow
Deep as tide of Water flow.
Count the elements fourfold
In the fifth the spell shall hold."
To Gain Love
Place cauldron between two pink candles. Place magenta candle in the cauldron. Light a love incense and pink candles. Tap the cauldron three times with your wand. Say:
"One to seek him/her, one to find him/her.
One to bring him/her, one to bind him/her.
Heart to heart, Forever one
So say I, this spell is done."
Tap the cauldron three more times. Light magenta candle
to speed the spell on its way.
Binding
Spell
Take a piece of stationary from the person you want to bind
and write down their name. Fold the paper in thirds, then in thirds twice more.
Hold the paper in your hands and visualize the face of the individual clearly in
your mind. Project that image on the paper, then wrap the paper with white and red
string for protection and binding. Place it in a container of water in the freezer.
(This will not hurt the person you are binding but will protect the petitioner
from harm.)
To Gain Money
Fill the cauldron half full with water and drop a silver coin into it. Position the cauldron so that the light from the Moon shines into the water. Gently sweep your hands just above the surface, symbolically gathering the Moon's Silver.
While doing this, say:
"Lovely Lady of the Moon
Bring to me your wealth right soon.
Fill my hands with silver and gold.
All you can give, my purse can hold."
Repeat three times. When finished, pour water upon the Earth.
Protection Spell
Sit before a fire (a candle works fine). Look into the flame. Visualize the fire bathing you with glowing, protective light. The fire creates a shimmering sphere around you. Say the following:
"Craft the spell in the fire;
Craft it well; Weave it higher.
Weave it now of shining flame;
None shall come to hurt or maim.
None shall pass this fiery wall;
None shall pass, No, none at all."
